Seiyo

for those of you who may not have heard already, i will be living in Seiyo, Ehime on the island of Shikoku, Japan. here is a run down of the place:

seiyo is located in southern ehime (the area in bright pink is seiyo city borders). it's climate is temperate with a low of about 34F. it sees all 4 seasons but snow in winter rarely sticks to the ground. ehime's number one export is the mandarin orange (mikan). seiyo, the city i'll be working in is an amalgamation of 5 smaller towns into one city > seiyo.

i'll leave you with this cute intro video to Ehime! (in english)

you don't know me (I found you from searching for people with common interests in their profiles), but I'm just curious as to how long you'll be in Japan. I have a few friends that went for JET and an ex-girlfriend of mine lived there for a few years with her parents before moving here. I've always wanted to visit and even had an opportunity to, but it eventually lost out to two weeks in London.

one day...one day...
